Park and Stride scheme

Due to the continued problems with parking down Bricknell Avenue and the surrounding streets, we are going to trial a ‘Park and Stride’ scheme.

Park and Stride scheme

The owners of the National Pub and the YPI on Chanterlands Avenue have kindly agreed to allow those parents who live too far to walk to school, to use their car parks at the beginning and end of the school day. This will allow you to park close to the school, then walk your children to the main entrance. The scheme will start from Monday 2nd March on a trial basis initially.

1. The National Pub Park in the National pub car park, cross Windsor Road and proceed to T junction with Bricknell Avenue, turn right and continue approximately 100 metres to school entrance.

Approximate walking time: 3 – 5 minutes.

2. Hull Y.P.I. Park in the Hull Y.P.I. car park adjacent to Chanterlands Avenue North, head along Chanterlands Avenue North towards Bricknell Avenue, crossing Loveridge Avenue. At the roundabout turn right onto Bricknell avenue and proceed approximately 200 metres to the crossing patrol adjacent to the school entrance.

Approximate walking time: 8 – 10 minutes.
