Gardening Club opening soon
We are hoping in the next few weeks to set up a gardening club. It will allow pupils to help with the planting and growing of vegetables and flowers. We would be grateful if you have any unwanted, unused garden tools that we can use. Please send them into school as soon as you can - thank you!

Cake Fair was a great success!
As always, the Bricknell Cake Fair was a huge success! The hall was packed with eager cake lovers, and we raised over £320!
Mighty Zulu Nation wrap up Africa Week
Our exciting Africa Week culminated in a stunning performance from the Mighty Zulu Nation theatre group, who entertained us with dancing, singing and Zulu stories.

African Steel Drums
As part of Africa Week, Year 4 were lucky to be able to spend a day learning all about African steel drums.

St. Patrick’s Day celebrations!
The children of Bricknell celebrated St. Patrick's Day 2007 with traditional Irish music and learnt about the life of St. Patrick himself.

Tilly Willis paints for the school
Artist Tilly Willis visited our school during Africa Week and painted a picture during assembly, as well as working with the children.
