Snow News!
There is still a lot of snow blocking parts of the school drive and limited parking on Bricknell Avenue, so could children and parents please continue to walk rather than come to school in the car. Extreme care should also be taken on paths despite the recent thaw. The paths are all gritted but some remain icy. Thank you to parents for their understanding during our recent school closure. As you can see from the photographs the snow on the school site was fairly deep!

Hull City help with shoebox collection
We were so lucky this week, when 2 Hull City players visitied our school to help with our Christmas shoebox collection. James Harper and Robert Koren came to collect a staggering 370 sheboxes that will be donated to Real Aid. The story has even been featured in the Hull Daily Mail! Read the full article here.

Well Done Matilda!
A very well done and thanks to Matilda who made it through to the top 10 of a competition run by Fab! ice lollies. She came runner up and won the Children's Centre £1000! Read the original story here.
Allotment News
The Gardening Club have been busy again with June and July been the busiest months so far. They were feeling the pressure from the beginning of the growing season because of the Driffield Show. However, with a lot of hard work and positive thinking they managed to win their first Highly Commended certificate! Well done to all the allotmenteers who managed to stay calm and are hoping for even better things next year! Read more to find out what else has been happening on the allotment.

Larkin with Toads at Bricknell
Children in KS2 have been given the opportunity to decorate their own toad! They were given a plastic toad to decorate for the Larkin 25 celebrations.
