Radio 2 - 500 Words Competition
As part of the BBC Year of Books, the Chris Evans Breakfast Show invited the children of the UK to fire up their imaginations and to put pen to paper, chisel to stone, quill to parchment, or just finger to keyboard. Anyone aged 13 or under was invited to write a short story of 500 words about any made-up subject to enter the 500 Words Competition.
One of our pupils, Josie Litten, did just that and her entry is now online as one of only 50 finalists! Follow the link below to read her story under the heading 'Armidillo', or read more to find out what happens for Josie now.
