How can you help your child?

Parents often ask how they can best help their child at home. We postively encourage you to do this! Here’s some advice

We’ve produced the following booklets to offer guidance on supporting pupils with reading and writing. All 4 of the following links are PDF documents – you’ll need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the files.

Beginning Reading – Advice for the parents of Key Stage 1 children
Beginning Writing – Advice for the parents of Key Stage 1 children

Key Stage 2 – Reading and Writing

Developing Reading – Advice for the parents of Key Stage 2 children
Developing Writing – Advice for the parents of Key Stage 2 children

We’d be interested to know if you found these booklets useful, or if you have any suggestions for improvement – contact us.
