Video: The Diana
Following the success of Up, Up and Away, Miss Wolff and Mrs Newton continued to keep animation a key part of the Year 4 curriculum, producing this marvellous animated short: The Diana.
They worked on the film last year, a Wyke Transition Project, that was produced for an exhibition at Hull University on Hull’s fishing heritage.
It really brought History to life for another group of year 4 children. These children worked in teams to write the narration based on the true story, make props and scenery and edit the film.
They used simple but effective animation techniques thought up by the children. The final film was screened at Hull University as part of the exhibition. We hope you enjoy watching it here too!
